Description

Antonina Ivanovna Dmitrieva was born in the village of Novoselki (now Murygino), Pochinkovsky district, Smolensk region, on 3 January 1944.

Graduated from Murygino seven-year school, Katyn secondary school of Smolensk district, Smolensk pedagogical school, school department. Pedagogical experience since 1963.

In 1975 she graduated from the Art and Graphic Department of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute (now Sholokhov University). Worked as a teacher of drawing and fine arts in Pechersk secondary school.

Since 1987 in Novodvinsk, Arkhangelsk region, for 3 years she taught drawing and fine arts at a secondary school. Then she moved to work as a teacher at the Children’s School of Arts, became the director, and in June 1999 – the head of the art department.

In 2004 she received a presidential grant for the implementation of the project “Psychophysical rehabilitation of disabled children by means of musical and artistic creativity”.
2001 – Honoured Worker of General Education
2007 – Honoured Teacher of the Russian Federation.
Participation in exhibitions since 1991. Solo exhibitions in Novodvinsk (1999) Arkhangelsk (2000, 2004) Switzerland Trogen (2004), Luxembourg (2010), Unecha (2013).
